Italy's Pagani Automobili has become the latest automaker to join Miami's growing list of auto-branded luxury real estate projects, laying out plans for a boutique condo in one of South Florida’s island communities that would bear its name.
The Modena, Italy-based hypercar maker announced plans for Pagani Residences, a boutique luxury condo planned for North Bay Village in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
The project is a first for Pagani, a maker of ultra-fast supercars and carbon-fiber parts based in Modena, Italy. Founded in 1992 by Horacio Pagani, the manufacturer's flagship sportscar, the Huayra, is named after the Incan god of wind and is capable of reaching a top speed of 238 miles per hour.
“Our aspiration is for residence owners to evoke the same exhilaration and excitement that our auto enthusiasts and owners experience every time they get behind the wheel of their Pagani Hypercar," Horacio Pagani said in a press release.
Condo prices at the project start at $2.4 million.
Pagani Residences would rise at 7940 West Drive. The three-island community of North Bay Village is situated in Biscayne Bay, about eight miles from downtown Miami.
Car-makers and Condos
The Pagani condominium is the latest in a string of developments connected to car-makers in the Miami area. Since the 2017 opening of the Porsche Design Tower, built by Dezer Development, four other car brands, Aston Martin, Bentley, Porsche and Mercedes-Benz, have attached their names and design influences to high-end luxury residences in South Florida.
Automakers are looking to extend the lifespan of their vehicles and branding and have them become intertwined in the lifestyle space through their growing involvement in real estate, Porsche Design and Bentley Residences developer Gil Dezer told CoStar in an interview earlier last
year.
The 28-story Pagani Residences will be developed by Miami real estate services firm Riviera Horizons. Designed by Revuelta International Architecture, the project will include a 240-foot waterfront boardwalk, private boat slips and entertainment spaces for each of the 70 all-corner units.
Pagani Arte, the carmaker's interior design division, designed the insides of the project.
Residential options include two- to four-bedroom units between 2,000 and 3,300 square feet, with outdoor terraces. Penthouses will contain 6,900 square feet of living space and up to 4,400 square feet of outdoor space.
Residents will be provided with a 24/7 concierge service and security, valet parking and porte-cochere when arriving, as well as a pet spa, bicycle, paddleboard and kayak storage, private garages for purchase and preferred parking.
The 27th floor will include a wellness center, cardio training, dedicated studios for Pilates and yoga, a spa, sauna, steam and private treatment rooms, and wellness area. The rooftop will have a pool and sky lounge with views of the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay.
Completion of Pagani Residences is expected in 2027.
