The hospitality group behind some of South Florida’s most successful restaurants is teaming up with PMG to launch a Japanese steakhouse at the developer’s nightclub-branded condominium and hotel in downtown Miami.
Riviera Dining Group, responsible for hotspots such as Mila, Claudie and Casa Neos, announced plans to open Honō this year at E11even Club Hotel & Residences. PMG has started closing on units at the 65-story, 449-unit branded condo-hotel at 20 NE 11th St.
“We’re focused on creating destinations where dining, design, music, and atmosphere come together in a meaningful way, and Honō represents an exciting next chapter for us in Miami,” said Gregory Galy, CEO of Riviera Dining Group, in a press release from the team.
The group’s other restaurants are some of the most successful in the country. Mila, a Mediterranean and Asian fusion concept in Miami Beach, Florida, generated $51.1 million in revenue last year, the most of any independently owned restaurant in the country, according to a list of the top 100 independent U.S. eateries in 2025 by Restaurant Business.
Honō’s dining room and lounge will open on the second floor of the tower, with a third section on the rooftop offering panoramic views of the city’s skyline.
Over the past few years, South Florida’s dining scene has been in flux, with a number of new high-end concepts catering to the region’s recent influx of wealthy residents since the pandemic. At the same time, a lack of available retail space — Miami’s vacancy stands at 3.2%, which is well below the 4.4% national average — has driven rent increases that have led to dozens of closures.
Park West, the neighborhood that includes the Miami Worldcenter mixed-use district, has been almost entirely redeveloped over the past decade. The area is home to two of the city’s most famous nightclubs, Space and E11even — of which the E11even Club Hotel & Residences and its twin tower, the E11even Club Residences Beyond, are branded after.
“As Miami’s premier entertainment district, Park West has consistently pushed forward with a premium, experience-driven vision, seeking out elite dining and nightlife opportunities to extend to its residents,” said Michael Simkins, co-founder of E11even Partners, in the release.
Standing 65 stories high, E11even Club Hotel & Residences and its exclusively residential sister tower next door are the first branded towers from E11even Partners. The towers were designed by Sieger Suarez Architects, with interiors by AvroKO. Amenities at the Club Hotel & Residences include a sanctuary spa and studio, casino-style sports lounge, medical spa, rooftop lounge, and a day club and pool on the 11th floor.
E11even Club Residences Beyond is slated for completion in 2027 and is 99% sold. A third condominium from PMG called West Eleventh Residences is also under construction in the area.
